JOSEPH ROGALSKI
Military funeral rites for Joseph Rogalski were held Nov. 23 in St. Agnes Catholic church of Ashland, Wis. Burial was in Dequesne, Pa. at a later date. Joe's death came Nov. 20 in St. Joseph’s hospital. Ashland after an illness of two years. Born in Wisconsin July 16, 1912, Rogalski played baseball professionally as a member of the Detroit Tiger farm system. During WW II he served 34 years as an orthopedic specialist in McCloskey General hospital in Temple, Texas. He came to KVP Feb. 14. 1946. working in the Filter Plant and with the Electricians. He later became a member of the Sales Dept. Joe was widely known at KVP as an outstanding member of the baseball team and a bowler in the KVP league. Immediate survivors are his widow, Sylvia, their son Joseph Jr., 6, and several brothers and sisters in Wisconsin. Mrs. Rogalski is making her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bedont of Duquesne, Pa. at present. The Parchment News (Kalamazoo County, Michigan) January 10, 1952 page 3
