Mrs. Christie was born on Feb. 21, 1946, in Sequoyah County to Isaac Bush and Narcie (Smith) Bush. She died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, in Bunch.
She worked for Cherokee Nation Industries as an industrial lead operator.
She married William Christie on July 12, 1963.
Survivors include her husband, William of the home; two daughters, Rececca Flute and Florence Wolfe, both of Sallisaw; one son, Donald Christie of the home; five sisters, Gussie Steeley of Bunch, Peggy Bush of Stilwell, Abbie Flute of Flute Springs, Sheila Bush of Muskogee and Cathrine Crisp of Fort Smith, Ark.; three brothers, Benny Bush and Ronnie Bush, both of Bunch and Johnny Hooper of Tahlequah; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Isaac Bush.
Pallbearers were her nephews.
