Daniel S. Dana Dead
Was Cousin of the Famous Editor of the New York Sun
Daniel S. Dana, cousin of Charles A. Dana, famous editor of the New York Sun, himself a former justice of the Ohio supreme court died in Salt Lake yesterday. Death was due to bronchitis.
Mr. Dana was 78 years of age and was without relatives here, although he had been a resident of Salt Lake for several years. He has relatives in Ohio, however, and in Trinidad, Colo.
In the '60s Mr. Dana was attorney in the United States treasury department at Washington. Later he was elected to the Ohio supreme bench. For a number of years he has lived in the west, being engaged in a number of mining enterprises.

The funeral of the late ex-Justice Daniel S. Dana of the Ohio supreme court, was held at 2 p.m. today from Evans' undertaking rooms with interment at Mt. Olivet. Judge Dana spent the last years of his life in mining in this state.
