Early Life: Growing up on a farm brought many interesting experiences, like the scar on her backside from jumping a barbwire fence.
Education: Brigham Young University
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Afton met Amos Loutelle Bossa at Brigham Young University. In 1941, they married and the adventure began. Since Amos was in the Air Force, his assignments took them to many different locations including Japan for three years. After Amos joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Afton was the best friend, companion and mother. She tried to always provide encouragement, support and love for her children and grandchildren. Their success and happiness were most important to her. Afton Estell Pack Bossa passed away August 2, 2013. She was 93.
Survived By: Her three sons and two daughters: Allen (Peggy), Kathleen Lund, Michael (Denise), Lorraine Bolger and Norman (Christina); 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Amos; her parents; siblings; and grandson, Michael G Bossa.
