On 16 February 1924, Harry married Mary Pauline Kretman in Saint Paul, MN; he was age 27, she was 17. Born 10 July 1906 in Poland, she was the fifth of eight children born to Krystian & Marie (Fierebach) Krettmann. She came to America in 1912.
Later in life, Harry worked as area superintendent for the Minnesota State Fish Hatchery.
