Kevin shared a passion for hunting with his sons and could usually be found on their deer lease in Llano. He was so proud of the young men they were becoming. Summers were spent on Grapevine Lake where Kevin was in his element grilling, fishing, boating, and swimming surrounded by a multitude of family and friends. His motto was "the more the merrier." Kevin was a kind, generous, and humble guy who told his wife everyday how blessed they were. He loved to tell his adventure stories and people loved to hear them. His sense of humor and boisterous laugh were contagious and endearing to all. Kevin defined the word courage. After surviving a plane crash in 1981, he heroically walked through a Rocky Mountain blizzard to find a rescue team that saved the lives of his 4 friends. For the past 2 1/2 years, he fought a hard battle with Leukemia. He never lost hope and inspired many with his dignity, unwavering faith in God, love for his family and graceful spirit. The family wishes to thank the Bone Marrow Transplant Staff at Baylor Hospital, especially our beloved Dr. Robert Brian Berryman for Kevin's loving care.
