DIES ON SUNDAY
Wilbur L. Miller, age 31, resident of this city for the past nine years, died Sunday at 3:30 a.m. at the family residence, 2032 Sheridan street, following an illness of about six weeks. He underwent a sinus operation on June 28 at Indianapolis and had never completely recovered.
A native of Marion, Mr. Miller lived there until coming to this city in 1931. He was employed at Plant 6. Delco-Remy Division of General Motors Corporation. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Lodge of Mason and the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis. He formerly belonged to the Second Friends Church at Marion. Mr. Miller was married on Sept. 26, 1931, to Miss Virginia Cleaver, of this city.
The body was removed to the Bakers Brothers funeral home, and is lying in state at the family residence. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. H.R. Carson pastor of the Noble Street Methodist Church, in charge. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will be returned to the funeral home Tuesday at noon.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Virginia Miller; three sisters, Mrs. Letha Lowden, Marion; Mrs. Walter Gardner, near Eaton, and Mrs. Fred A. Colsten, Forth Smith Ark., and three brothers, Floyd and Elza Miller, both of Marion, and Albert Miller, Hartford City.
