22 October 1976: Ada W. Leininger, 83, died at Cedar Haven where she was admitted yesterday morning. She was the wife of William R. Leininger, 434 N. 23rd St. Born in Colebrook, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie E. Lee Wilson. She had formerly been a machine operator at Landis Shoes, Palmyra, and was employed during World War II at Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Ada, wife of Rayfield Rudegeair, Lebanon RD 4; Gladys, wife of Walter Weaber, Lebanon RD 4; Florence, wife of Elwood Fessler, Lebanon RD 3; Arlene, wife of Foster Rowe, Lebanon; two sons, Robert Sonnon, Cloud, Fla., and William R. Leininger Jr.,Lebanon; 32 Grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a brother, Warren Wilson, Lebanon, and nieces and nephews. [Lebanon Daily News]

25 Oct 1976: Funeral services were held this afternoon for Ada W. Leininger, wife of William R. Leininger, 434 N. 23rd St., at Taylor-Ruffner Funeral Home. The Rev. Daryl M. Kuhns, pastor of Christian Union Church, officiated. Burial was in Grand View Memorial Park. Pallbearers were grandsons, Robert Leininger, Llewleyn and Galen Weber, Todd and Raphil Klinger and Lynn Shay. [Lebanon Daily News]
