David M Sewell age 66 a resident of Cleveland died Wednesday at the family residence. David was the son of the late Emmett and Blanche West Sewell and was also preceeded in death by a sister Joyce Starr. He worked at the Bradley County Sheriffs department from 2004 until 2008 in transportation. He loved his family, camping, guns and reading and was a member of the Dalton Pike Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Cathy Sewell, 4 sons and spouses David and Laura Weiman of Detriot Mich., Johnny C. Sewell and his fiancé Melissa of Cleveland, Kevin P. and Angie Sewell of Cleveland, Michael R. and Neina Sewell of Auburn Alabama, 4 daughters and spouses Donna and Dale Clarkson of Dalton GA., Ann Marie Jarmon of Grand Rapid Mich., Hope and Rob Works of Cleveland, and Tessa Sewell also of Cleveland, 16 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers J.W. Sewell of Huntington West Virginia, Emmitt C. Sewell of Ypsilanti Mich., 3 sisters Carol Hall of Franklin Ind., Nell Monroe and her husband Bill of Franklin Ind., and Priscilla Muslin of Canton Mich. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Rememberance Of Life Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday January 3, 2012 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Rob Works officiating. Interment will follow at the Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery with Kevin Sewell, Johnny Sewell, Michael Sewell, Robbie Works, PFC Cameron Sewell and Beau Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Darrin Ledford.
