Dorothea Arnold, 97, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 15, 2001. Dorothea was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Wesley Arnold and her grandson, William Wesley McVannan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Fenton McVannan, Endicott; four grandchildren, Vickie and her husband, John Potochniak, Jamie and his wife, Joanne McVannan, David McVannan and his fiancee, Regina Cerra, Kevin and his wife, Kristine McVannan; also nine great-grandchildren, Stephen, Courtney, and Matthew Potochniak, Kyle, Corey, Christopher, Alexander, Kylie, and Madelyn McVannan; as well as two nieces. The family wishes to thank the staff of River Mede Manor for the kind and thoughtful care that was given to Dorothea. The Funeral and Interment services will be held Monday, August 20, at 4 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home in Endicott. The Rev. Matthew Rennie will officiate. Burial will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday from 3 to 4 p.m.
