R. Wesley Arnold, 89, of 619 Wendell St., died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at Ideal Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea Arnold, Endicott; one daughter and one son-in-law, Phyllis and Fenton McVannon, Endicott; four grandchildren, Vickie, Jamie, David and Kevin McVannon, all of Endicott; three nieces, Mrs. Ellen Tarrell, Mrs. Beverly Reynolds and Mrs. Iris Rawley; three nephews, Edward Arnold, Lawrence Arnold and James Tarrell. He was a member of the Endicott Johnson Fire Prevention Dept. for 42 years and was a World War I veteran.

Funeral and Internment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. George Marchak, pastor of Union Center Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Union Center Christian Church in memory of R. Wesley Arnold.
