Published in The Carlisle County News, May 19, 1988 - Alice Mae Abernathy, 76, of Route 2, Arlington, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Arlington.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Cargill of Arlington and Kay Carouch of Kevil; four grandchilden; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Joseph and Nola Alice Tucker Griffith, two sisters and four brothers.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Milner Funeral Home, Bardwell, with the Revs. Terry Wilson and Howard Wilson officiating.
