Born July 15, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Will Franklin and Daisy (Boulware) Haney.
A homemaker, she attended the Monarch Assembly of God Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Bradley DePratter and Chris Haney and wife Jennifer, all of Union; seven sisters, Jean Turner of the home, Sandra West of Buffalo, Rosa Moore of Buffalo, Maggie Miller of Hartsville, Ga., Linda McClaster of Clarksville, Ga., Vernelle Pruitt of Buffalo, and Vanessa Hogan of Cheraw; three brothers, Michael Haney and Gerald Haney of Buffalo and William Haney of Union; two grandchildren, Celest Haney and Jacob Haney of Union; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Gibson was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy (Haney) Justice and two brothers, James Haney and Clyde Haney.
Funeral Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jerry Hargrove. Burial was in Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Stanley Haney, Tommy Turner, Brian Turner, Jeramy Miller, Glenn Thomas and Wayne West.
The family received friends 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2005 at the funeral home.
