SANTA FE — Mrs. Margaret Wilson Manwell passed from
this life Monday morning in Texas City.
Born September 25,1917, in Arcadia, Texas, Mrs. Manwell
had been a lifetime resident of Santa Fe. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she had worked in the nursery for many years and she had been employed at Lamden-Schulze grocery store for 16 years.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Lee Manwell; daughter, Ann Kemmeriing and her husband, J. D.; grandchildren, Candi Miller and her husband, Quinton, Donna Folse and her husband, Phillip, Byron Kemmeriing and his wife, Gina, Darrin Kemmeriing and his wife, Robbin, Kim Catching and her husband, David, Michael Manwell and his wife, Dora and Lee Manwell; great-grandchildren,
Sarah Miller Hargis and her husband, Dennis, Julia Miller, Jordan Folse, Christina Thornburg, Nickie Holley, Joshua Kemmeriing, Stevy Ybarra, Nathan and Lauren Catching, Jonathan Manwell; brothers, Scott Wilson Sr. and George Wilson and hi& wife, Dorothy; sister, Mary Louise Lothrop; daughter-in-law, Virginia Manwell
and her friend, Tony Kaferle.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a,m. Thursday at
Aldersgate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eugene
Easterly officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Casketbearers -will be David Catching, Phillip Folse, Byron Kernmerling, Darrin Kemmeriing, Lee Manwell, Michael Manwell and Quinton Miller.
