Frances Wilkes was born February 18, 1924 in Greenville, Texas to Franklin and Marie McHenry. She passed away August 2, 2013.

Frances was raised in Greenville, Texas for 13 years before she moved to Dallas, Texas to live with her mother. She graduated from Adamson High School in 1942 and married Dale Wilkes on February 12, 1942 in Dallas. They had four children, Gail, Walter, David and Anna, 9 grand children, 18 great grand children and 5 great, great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and both sons.

Frances was gifted with a wonderful voice and sang in churches all over North Texas as a child. She was a talented seamstress, and made beautiful porcelain dolls, birds and china. She was also a terrific cook. During WWII she worked at Neiman Marcus as a model, designer and sales associate. She was baptized at First Baptist Church, Greenville, Texas.
