He leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters, Bethel Thorne and husband, John, and Sybil M. Griffin and husband, Carlson, of Ben Salem, Pa.
The family received friends, Friday, September 13, 2002, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home. Graveside services will be today at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Stanley Brown officiating.
