Arthur Comer, Tom's Creek, died last Saturday afternoon in a Norton hospital after a long illness.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma Comer, Coeburn; three sisters, Mrs. Flossie Mutter, Coeburn, Mrs. Florence Roope and Mrs. Mae Maloone, addresses unknown; two stepsisters, Mrs. Bessie Boggs, Banner, and Mrs. Juanita Hamm, address unknown; a half-sister, Mrs. Catherine Smith, Woodway, Md.; a brother, Walter Comer, Coeburn; and three half-brothers, Joe Comer, Grundy; James Comer, Richlands, and Marvin Comer, Haysi.
Funeral services were held last Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the Church of God, Comer, Va., with the Rev. Wythe White and the Rev. Hale in charge. Burial followed in Temple Hill Cemetery.
