Son of Abraham Truax, of Schenectady, New York, and Minerva Blanchard, of Rutland, Vermont.

He married Isabella "Belle" Keller, 15 May 1854, in Hamilton County, Cincinnati.

His wife, Isabella "Belle" (Keller) Truax, died of Typhoid fever, 6 August 1866.

He next married, Emma T. Conwell, of Ohio, in 1871. Their first child, a daughter, Sarah Addie Truax, born in 1872, in Covington, Kentucky. Followed by a son, Harry Anson Truax, born in 1877, in Chicago, Cook, Illinois.

DAVID A. TRUAX, 207 South Francisco Avenue, who died on March 28, was buried yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Church of the Epiphany. The services were private, and were attended only by a few relatives and friends. Sarah Truax, daughter of David Truax, arrived yesterday from Pittsburgh, PA., where she had been playing during her father's illness. She reached the city in time to attend the funeral.
