Born August 1, 1926 in Greene County, Indiana the son of Estel and Dolly (Arthur) Reed.
Everett was a Carpenter.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Barb Heist of Bloomington and Deanna McBride of Linton, one son Brandon Reed of Terre Haute, four grandchildren, one brother Jim of Alabama, one sister Oley of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy A. Reed on October 17, 2009, one son Eugene Reed and his parents.
Friends may call Thursday from Noon until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor David Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery.
