Aaron Stoltzfus, 79, of Gap R1, died unexpectedly Sunday at 5 a.m. at his home. He had been under the care of a physician.
Born in Salisbury Township, a son of the late Gideon and Sarah Stoltzfus Stoltzfus, he was the husband of the late Fannie Fisher Stoltzfus.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Amish Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Elizabeth, wife of Jonas K. Beiler, Honey Brook; Susie, wife of Amos K. Stoltfus, Elverson R2; Naomi, wife of Samuel Esh Jr., Gordonville R1; Sarah, wife of John N. Smoker, Kinzer R1, and Barbara, wife of Elmer Mast, Parkesburg R1; six sons, Isaac F., John F., and Elmer, all of Gap R1; Gideon K., Atglen R1; Aaron F., at home, and Jonathan, Intercourse.
He is also survived by two brothers, Amos U. Stoltzfus, Ronks R1, and Gideon M. Stoltzfus, Narvon R1; one sister, Mrs. Rachel King, Ronks R1; 52 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
