A former member of the Army National Guard, Mr. Tutela retired in 1991 as a Corrections Officer at the Hunterdon County Jail, Flemington, NJ. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Surviving are his wife of fourty-seven years, Barbara J. Tutela; two daughters, Karen Hill of Readington Township, NJ and Lauren Bolen of Marlton, NJ; two sons, Charles Tutela of Pt. Pleasant, PA and Lawrence Tutela, Jr. of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a sister, Rose Loyo of Whitehouse Station, NJ; and 9 grandchildren.
