Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, at 10:30 a.m. at First Methodist Church in Blair for Robert Fleming, age 53, of Blair, who died July 24, 1980, in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Rev. John Petersen conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.
Robert Fleming was born March 19, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa, to John and Ruth M. Sullivan Fleming. He was married in June of 1950 in Blair to Marilyn Mencke. A salesman, he was a member of the American Legion and was a Mason. He was also a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Blair, two sons, one brother, Allan Fleming, Blair; one sister, and his mother Ruth Fleming of Blair.
