Miss Stephanie J. Turner, 24, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at her home, after having an epileptic seizure.
She was born February 24, 1989 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Clay Turner and Linda (Summers) Turner.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and was baptized on February 6, 2011. Stephanie graduated from LaPorte High School in 2010. She was an avid animal lover, she especially loved her beloved dog Prince. She loved spending time with her family. Stephanie had a outgoing personality and lit up the room when she entered.
She is survived by her father, Clay (Dawn Krueger) Turner, mother, Linda Turner, all of LaPorte, IN; brother - Troy Taylor of La Porte, IN; 2 sisters - Ashley (Mike Miller) Turner of La Porte, IN, Sabrine Turner of Warsaw, IN; aunt, Janet (Scott) McAlpine of La Porte, IN.; 4 nieces and nephews, Chloe Taylor, Bryley Miller, Hailey Miller, Brianna Miller; special friend - Tony Clemons of La Porte, IN, and several, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday, July 31, 2013 9:00 am until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday July 31, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
