John Hamlin Coble, 72, Minor Hill, died from injuries sustained Thursday in an accident near Fall River Road in the Anthony Hill Community. His wife, Mary, a passenger in the automobile, is listed in fair condition at Hillside Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Coble were held Sunday at Bennett May Chapel with J. T. Word
and Bill Smith officiating. Burial was in Giles Memory Garden.
A native of Giles County, he was married to Mary Elizabeth McCluskey Coble.
Other survivors include three step-sons, Robert Larry, Dale and R. F. McCluskey, all of Anderson, Ala.; one brother, Howard Coble, Chapel Hill; several nieces and nephews.
