Mrs. Keirsey was born May 21, 1924 to the late Newell Strawn and the late Clara Moody Strawn at Indian Bay, Arkansas.
Mrs. Keirsey is survived by two sons, Stephen Keirsey (Irene) and Kenneth Keirsey (Gayle) of West Helena; one step-son, Harold F. Keirsey (Bernice) of West Monroe, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one step great-great grandchild; one brother-in-law, Lynn Cox; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Harold L. Keirsey; her parents; one daughter, Kay Stevens; one sister, Nadine Cox; one brother, Everett Strawn; one step –granddaughter, Mickie Keirsey.
She was a long time member of the Church of Christ.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Stevens, Lee Keirsey, Kent Keirsey, Charlie Privett, Justin Foster, Tony Cox, Phillip Cox and Michael Cox.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association P. O. Box 96011 Washington, D. C. 20090-6011
Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 12 noon at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home 508 Plaza West Helena.
