Charles Nathan Newhall of 33 Forest Avenue died yesterday. The son of Nathan B. and Florence (Hawks) Newhall, he was a resident of Greenfield 62 years. He married the former Jennie Sanderson in Whately in 1920. He retired from the W.M. Potter Grain Company in 1948 after 46 years service. He was then associated with Clark Hardware until 1962. Attending local schools, he graduated from Greenfield High School in 1903. He was a member of Second Congregational Church and the Odd Fellows of Greenfield. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Byron H. Newhall of Buffalo, N.Y., and Russell S. of Greenville, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Charles T. Kelley of Shelburne; three grandchildren, two nephews, and one niece.
