Mrs. Austin was born the daughter of Walter Charles and Mary Ann Pritchard Redding. "Lou" was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and a retired employee of Burlington Socks. She is survived by her husband: Harold Austin, one daughter: Dr. Patsy Carol Austin and one son: Larry E. Austin, AIA and one brother: Walter Redding. Lou died at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Of Asheboro at age 80.
