Justin Joseph Adams Jr., age 79, passed away at his home in Lynnwood, Washington, on March 6, 2005. He was born on April 7, 1925, in San Francisco, California, to Mary Dvoradkin and Justin Joseph Adams, Sr. Justin joined the U.S. Navy in 1941, shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He received a medical discharge in 1944 and continued to work for the Navy as a civilian until 1945. He then joined the Merchant Marines and met his wife, Frida in Germany in 1948. Justin moved with his wife and daughter, Patricia to Seattle in 1951. His son, Tom was born in 1956. From 1953 until his retirement in 1983, he worked for the Washington State Ferries.
Justin is survived by his wife, Frida; daughter, Pat Benefiel; son, Tom Adams; brother, Alex Kibizoff; and six grandchildren.
At 1:00 pm March 9, 2005, a funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Lynnwood, WA.
