Robert Paige Yount
Conover, N.C. - Robert Paige Yount, of Conover, passed away July 1, 2008, at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley.
He was born Sept. 4, 1928, in Catawba County. He was the son of the late Robert Glenn Yount and Edna Shook Yount.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Aderholt, Isobel Setzer and Glenna Mae Estes, and three brothers, Ralph G. Yount, Hugh C. Yount and Joseph (Mack) Yount.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn H. Yount; a daughter, Luann Y. Bollinger; twin grandsons, Robert Shawn Bollinger and Michael Shane Bollinger; and two sisters, Loretta Huffman and her husband, Clyde (Toby) Huffman, and Sara Olup and her husband, John Olup.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Catawba Funerals & Cremations, with graveside rights immediately following by Pastor Paul Chapman of Faith Lutheran Church in Conover, where he was a member.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, N.C. 28658 or Faith Lutheran Church of Conover.
