Mrs. Jordan is survived by two sons, Edward Leland "Buddy" Jordan III and his wife Amber and William P. Jordan, and his wife Mary Ann all of Murfreesboro; brother Dan Batey of Columbia, and a sister Katie Tramel of Nashville; four grandchildren Matthew, Taylor, Ginny, and Zachary Jordan all of Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Teb Batey will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. She attended training school and was a 1948 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. Mrs. Batey and her husband owned and operated Cow Palace Dairy until their retirement in 2002. She was a member of the Murfreesboro Women's Club, the Little Garden Club, the Flower Club, and was a member of the Women's Committee of the Rutherford County Farm Bureau.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Adam's Place for the excellent care given to Mrs. Jordan. Memorials may be made to the "Ag in the Classroom" program through the Rutherford County Farm Bureau.
