Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Lau, 65 of Stockbridge, who passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Appleton were held at St. Mary’s church, Stockbridge with the Rev. Theodore Kersten officiating.
Mrs. Lau was born June 3, 1888, in Jericho the town of Brothertown the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hanke Sr.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Lutsch, Chicago and Mrs. Marie Kruger, Cameron, one son, Gordon Ecker, R. 2, Hilbert; five brothers, Frank and Ray Hanke, Stockbridge, Carl Hanke, Charlesburg; Anton Hanke, Milwaukee, John Hanke, California; three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Goeser, Stockbridge, Mrs. Richard Preissner, Sherwood and Mrs. Kate Thill, Milwaukee; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
