Katie M. Havel, 106, died March 8, 1988, in the Olathe Nursing Home, 625 N. Lincoln St., Olathe, where she lived.
Mrs. Havel was born July 30, 1881, in Czechoslovakia and lived in David City, Neb., before moving to this area eight years ago. She was a Catholic. Her husband, Joseph Havel, died in 1968.
Survivors include a daughter, Marie Matschullat, Overland Park; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Knott Chapel, David City; burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, David City.
