Mrs. Sarah R. Mornin, 82, died suddenly Monday night at her residence, 150 Annadale ave., Akron. Mrs. Mornin came to Massillon at the age of 8 years from Wales, and resided here for nearly 40 years before going to Akron to make her home. She was a member of the Women's Welsh Club.
She is survived by a son, William A. Mornin of Akron; seven daughters, Miss Edna Mornin, Mrs. Vernice Flemming and Mrs. E.J. Hofacker, of Akron; Mrs. D.M. Ziegler, of Lakewood; Mrs. Albert Brigger of Cleveland; Mrs. Bessie Dine of Canton and Mrs. R.E. Hower, of San Gabriel, Cal; a brother, James Davis of Flint, Mich.; 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Eckard funeral home, 760 East Market St., Akron, pending funeral arrangements.
