The Oklahoman, Wednesday, May 24, 1950:
A. R. Easton, 71, city treasurer of Warr Acres, died at 11:30 am Tuesday in his home, 5313 N. MacArthur Blvd. Easton, born in St Louis, MO, was manager of Dunn & Bradstreet Inc here from 1907 until 1944. A year ago, Easton was elected Treasurer of the new city of Warr Acres.

He was a member of the Christian Science Church, and the Rotary Club of which he was a charter member. He married Pearl Clasby here in 1908.

Survivors beside his wife, are one son, A. R. Easton Jr, Dallas, TX; one brother, Theodore D. Easton, Kansas City, MO; one sister, Mrs F. E. DeMuth, Westlake, OH;

Christian Science services will be held 2 pm Thursday in the Smith & Kernke Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill.
