Glinda Sodemann, age 19, of North Pole, Alaska, was a newlywed with a new baby and was the daughter of an Alaska State Trooper. She was a victim of a confessed serial killer.

The murderer was an active-duty U.S. Air Force member. He drove his motorcycle into an oncoming dump truck about 40 miles east of Wichita Falls, Texas, on March 15, 1983, and died. His death was ruled a suicide. He knew he would be arrested as soon as a warrant was issued. He committed five murders while he was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base, located outside Fairbanks, Alaska.
