Great Bend -- Sister Seraphine Grabbe, 75, died May 19, 1989, at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend. Born Aug. 1, 1913, at Antonio, she was a housekeeper at the Dominican Sisters Motherhouse and was a resident of Great Bend since 1981.

Survivors: brothers, Adolph, Mathias Jr., Elmer, all of Hays, Edward, Hill City; and sister, Albertine Kinderknecht, Hays.

Wake service will be 7:30 p.m. today at Dominican Chapel of the Plains, Great Bend. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in Sisters' Calvary Cemetery, Great Bend. Friends may call until service time at the chapel. Bryant-Christians Funeral Home, Great Bend, is in charge of arrangements.
