Annette (Hairston) Woods was born March 21, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio to James and Anna Hairston. At age 56, she went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Annette retired from DCSC and was a faithful member of 7th Avenue Community Baptist Church.

Predeceased by father James Hairston; sister Alma Jean Hairston.

Survived by husband, Eugene Woods; children, Trameco (LaShawnda), Deon (Denae), Dewayne, Lakishann Woods; mother, Anna (Roland) Poindexter; brother, James Hairston; sisters, Jacqueline (William "Bill") Caslin, Crystal and Cynthia Poindexter; father-in-law, Joseph Woods, Sr.; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends
