Katherine Gooras Koulis "Yia Yia" Born March 31, 1915 to Lazarus Gooras and Fotini Polimeropolis in Ombriaki, Greece.

Katherine grew up in Magna, Utah and graduated from Cyprus High School. She married Paul Koulis June 1, 1941. She
worked for Utah Dept. of Transportation for 20 years. Katherine was a member of the Greek Holy Trinity Orthodox Church where she taught Sunday School for 30 years; member of the Ladies Philoptohos Society, Daughters of Penelope,
Hellenic Ladies Club, Athanasios Diakos Society and Hellenic Cultural Association.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul, sisters Mary Pappacostas, and May Gooras. She is survived by two daughters Josie Browning and Dovey Busico; four grandchildren Michelle and Richard Haarbrink, Andrew and Amy
Browning, Brittney Busico, Brooke Busico, and seven great-grand-children: Jaden, Mason, Ashton, Evan, Gracie, Emma, Taegan, nieces, Faith and Connie; nephews, Leslie, John, and Spiro.

Funeral Service will be held, Friday, March
11, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 S. 300 W. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery Funeral Directors: Deseret Memorial Mortuary
