She was born March 9, 1928 in Chesterfield County, the daughter of the late George Adams and Lula (Faile) Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fort Lawn Church of God. She attended Lancaster County Schools.
Survivors include husband, Reese Hopkins, 2 sons, Johnny Hopkins of Great Falls, SC, and William Hopkins of Great Falls, SC; 3 daughters, Linda Goings of Great Falls, SC, Joyce Fleetwood of Great Falls, SC, and Barbara Payseur of Blackstock, SC; one sister, Grace Catoe of Kershaw, SC; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.
