His Grandpa Boley & 2 or 3 brothers came from Germany to Lorotto, (western), PA near St. Michael's Parish, a primary seat of German & Irish Catholic migration between 1800-1830. A number of Boleys are buried in St. Michael's Cemetery there, possibly his Grandpa's brother's families. Their father's branch relocated to Somerset, OH abt 1840 where St. Joseph's was a similar parish.
Clem married Laura F. Nangle in 1896. Daughter, Florence was born in Jackson Twp., Perry Co., OH. Siblings, Mike Boley and Mary Shriner's families had farms next to his in Monday Creek Twp., Perry Co. in 1910, his father lived with them. Later, he & some of the siblings relocated to Lancaster, Ohio. Died age 82 yrs. old.
