Brad Lallatin Smith, 58, of Soda Springs passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Brad was born on July 2, 1955 in Soda Springs, Idaho the son of Vaughn and Deon Davis Smith.
He has lived in Soda Springs for his entire life of 58 years. He graduated from Soda Springs High School and Idaho State University.
He married Tammie Bright April 2, 1976 in Soda Springs, Idaho.
Brad was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He was part owner of Vaughn Smith Construction and has also volunteered numerous amounts of time on community projects.
Brad enjoyed snow machining, boating four-wheeling and many more outdoor activities. His favorite hobby was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Tammie, and two sons and one daughter, Micheal Ryan Smith of Soda Springs, ID, Nicholas Gordon and Sarah Lynn Smith of Billings, MT, and Alisa Marie and Gregory Dynes of Apple Valley, CA. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and his parents Vaughn and Deon Smith, a brother DeVaughn Smith and a sister Vicki Hopkins.
Services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
