Musician. He developed his career in groups through Timebox, Patto, Tempest and Boxer and collaborations with many artists apart from Kevin Ayers such as John Otway, John Cale, Grimms and the Rutles. In 1981, he moved to Majorca, where got involved in producing and playing for Spanish groups and artists. But he worked primarily with Kevin Ayers and The Soporifics for the rest of his career. Kevin and Ollie put out five albums from 1983 to 1992. 1983's "Diamond Jack and the Queen of Pain" contained Ollie's "Steppin Out" and Ollie playing acoustic slide guitar on "Champagne and Valium". Among his songs "Hold Your Fire," "Air-Raid Shelter," "I Need You," "Sausages" and "My Days Are Numbered." He died in Madrid of a drug-related heart attack. Fans have placed a guitar volume knob on his gravestone.
