Beverly Jean Alery, 71, Independence, MO beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 19, 2013.

Services will be 10 am, Friday, July 26 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the chapel.

Beverly was born Dec. 22, 1941 in Springfield, IL.

She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She was highly respected as a member of the Union movement for over thirty years.

She has worked for the last twelve years at Hotel/Restaurant Workers Local #64.

She brought joy to others with her laughter and was always there for those in need through the years.

Beverly was a mentor for so many with her determination and achievements.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eloise Fahrenbocker, stepfather Donald Fahrenbocker and father Thomas P. Wilson.
