LEWISTON, Idaho, April 4. -- William J Hoffman, 57, an east Lewiston wheat farmer since 1931, died at his home yesterday. Mr. Hoffman was born in Walla Walla September 29, 1900, and moved from Johnson, Wash., to Lewiston. He married Mary Schaub 35 years ago, and she is among his survivors. He belonged to the Elks lodge and Episcopal church. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, with the Rev. William Greenfield officiating. Burial will be Monday afternoon in Walla Walla, the Elks lodge in charge. The body is at Vassar-Rawls funeral home.
