Sue Ann Gordon, 68 of Ludowici, Ga. died July 19, 2013 in Liberty Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
The Long County, Ga. native was a member of First Baptist Church of Ludowici and a homemaker. She worked for many years as a Captain for Pinkerton Security System for Rayonier of Jesup, Ga. she enjoyed fishing, traveling and being"MeMe" to all who knew her.
She was the widow of Leslie E. Gordon, Sr. and also preceased by a daughter , Leslie Annette Gordon and a step-father, Earl Gordon, Sr.
survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Alan Engler of Ludowici, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law, L.E. and Tracy Gordon, Donnie Gordon both of Ludowici,Ga.; a mother, June Kirksey Breazeale of Jesup, Ga.; 5 sisters, Gail Williamson of Athens, Ga., Sharon Joiner of Dublin, Ga., Annita Mills of Richmond Hill, Ga Beverly Voight of Ludowici, Ga., Barbara Sellers of Odum, Ga., a brother, Dwight Gordon of Ludowici, Ga., 5 grandchildren, Richard Gordon, Courtney Engler, Allison Gordon, Joshua Gordon, Summer Engler, all of Ludowici, Ga.; a great grandson, Matthew Gordon, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday July 22, 2013 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Irvin Poole and Rev. Dale Dyar officiating.
Graveside services will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Long County. active pallbearers will be Tad McGowan, John Boy Reddish, George Hendrox, Todd Swindell, Terry Johnson, and Justin Way.
