Frank Hays, 82, 1903 NW 16, died early Sunday morning at St Anthony Hospital from pneumonia after a week's illness. Services are pending at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home with entombment to be in Rose Hill Abbey. He was born in Hot Springs, Ark., August 15, 1877 and came to Oklahoma in 1907, settling in Muskogee where he established a men's hat business. He was in business at Muskogee for 45 years and moved to Oklahoma City after his retirement.

He was a Spanish-American War veteran and a member of the First Methodist Church of Muskogee. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 28, Bedouin Temple and the Commandry, all of Muskogee. After being a member of the Royal Arch Masons and the worshipful Grand Lodge of Oklahoma for more than 50 years, He recieved his lifetime membership from both organization in October 1958. Survivors are his wife, Connie, of the home; and a niece, Mrs Grace Lock, 1628 NW 18.
