Rowley - Mrs Floyd Kline, a resident of this community for nearly 20 years, after a lingering illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs Freda Stevens, at 5:30 pm Saturday. Funeral Tuesday at 2pm in the Methodist Church. Short service will be held at the home at 1:30. Burial at Rowley. Anee Grace Shaffer, May 11, 1887 in Linn County, IA, daughter of Anna and Devilla Shaffer. Married Aug 26, 1908 to George Mershon, who died Aug 5, 1937. On Oct 8, 1938, she was married to Floyd Kline. Leaves husband, 2 children: Willis Mershon, serving with the armed forces in Germany; and Mrs Freda Stevens, Rowley; 4 grandchildren; 6 brothers and 2 sisters, Matt, Marshalltown; Carl, Walker; Rolland, Rowley; Louis, Brandon; William and Cledeth, Cedar Rapids; Mrs Maude Fisher, Miller, SD; and Mrs John Mershon, Ackley. The body will be at the Floyd Kline home in Rowley Monday evening.
