ALONZO ARBUCKLE DIES IN SHELBY HOSPITAL
Alonzo Arbuckle, 90, oldest resident of Manilla and father of the late Everett E Arbuckle, died Sunday night at the Major hospital at Shelbyille. He had been ill since last Tuesday and underwent major surgery Saturday.

Born November 4, 1854, in Rush county, the deceased was in the lumber business for several years and resided in Manilla all his married life, he being married to Emmy Lyons on November 1, 1875. She preceded him in death. Mr Arbuckle was a member of the Manilla Methodist church and was affiliated with the Red Men's lodge in Greensburg.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Maud Straisinger of Redlands, Calif. and two grandchildren, Mrs Theresa Warrick of Knightstown rural route and Mrs Easter Moster, R R 6, Rushville.

The son, Everett E Arbuckle, widely known citizen of Greesburg for many years, died as the result of an auto accident on July 13, 1941.

Final rites will be held at the Carmony funeral home in Manilla at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon with burial in East Hill cemetery. Rev Mr Royster will officiate.
