Frances M. Valhos, 95, a lifelong resident, died Thursday at Mediplex Convalescent Home in Danbury.
She was the wife of the late Gus Valhos.
Mrs. Valhos was born in Danbury on Nov. 30, 1892, a daughter to the late Joseph and Winifred Dunleavy Hirt. She is survived by a son, Joseph Valhos of Justice, Ill., three daughters, Dorothy Rubertello of San Francisco, Lorraine Weiner of Danbury and Arlene Johnson of Washington, Conn.; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
