SEATTLE, Wash. - Gabriel Harrison Day, 35, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Feb. 9, 2010. Gabe was born March 5, 1974, in Greenwich, Conn., and attended high school at Delaware Academy in Delhi [NY], graduating in 1992. He attended Binghamton University, and went on to graduate from the School of Resource Science at Washington State University. He was employed at Microsoft in Redmond, Wash., until 2007, and worked as a territory manager for Teachfirst, Inc., through 2010. In addition to his wife and two daughters, Gabe is survived by his mother and his father. To know Gabe was certainly a treasure, truly one of a kind and will be missed by many. We will remember him for his great sense of humor, philosophical questions and conversations, basketball jump-shot, sentimentality, not to mention his love for his family, country music, the Meredith Inn and Delaware Academy. He will remain in our hearts forever…
